A new report by the Violence Policy Center says more Nevadans were killed by guns in 2014 than in motor vehicle accidents. 429 people died from firearms, 319 in crashes. The Violence Policy Center which supports gun control, says gun deaths outpace traffic deaths in 21 states, and Nevada has more than 15 gun deaths per 100 thousand in population, 5th highest behind Alaska, Louisiana, Tennesee and Missouri.
