Shooting Suspect Arrested in New Mexico

A suspect in a shooting that injured an innocent bystander in northeast Reno was arrested Friday in New Mexico. Reno Police say the U.S. Marshals Office arrested 31-year-old Carl Collins. Police said Collins got into an argument with someone on January 20th near Wedekind Road and Sutro Street. The other person got into a vehicle and drove away and Collins began shooting at him. The bullets did not hit the intended target but instead penetrated the wall of an apartment and hit an unsuspecting teenage girl in her home. The injuries were not life-threatening and she was taken for treatment.
