MISSING ELDERLY MAN SAVED IN INCLINE — Washoe County Sheriff Chuck Allen is praising the efforts of Incline Village Deputies and Search and Rescue volunteers who found a missing and endangered elderly California man Monday in Incline Village. Sheriff Allen says the crew is modest, but, “We should all be proud of their actions this week, for I believe they saved a life that day.” Ivan Cooper had recently been reported missing by his daughter, and he was found about a half mile from his abandoned car, lying in some pine needles on a fire road off Allison Drive in Incline Village. Without the work of the team, Cooper may not have survived the night, given his condition.
