DEVELOPMENT BEGINS ON HARRAH ESTATE  — The Rancharrah, Harrah’s family estate, has closed escrow, and plans to develop the Harrah family estate are now moving forward. Plans for the property include 117 acres dedicated to residential homes and 25 acres designated to commercial/office/medical and retail space. Thirty percent, or around 43 acres, has been dedicated to landscaped open space, and a linear park connecting Wheatland Park to Del Monte Lane will feature a pedestrian trail with exercise equipment. The residential portion will consist of seven distinct villages varying from urban residential to estate-style lots.
