ELDERLY MAN DRIVES THROUGH BILLBOARD — An 85-year-old man is in serious condition at a local hospital after crashing the SUV he was driving.  According to NHP, he drove off the road on southbound Highway 395 near mile marker 18 and went through the base of a billboard. The impact tore the passenger side door off and then the SUV rolled before it came to a stop in a field. Emergency responders had to extricate the man from the SUV to load him onto a Care Flight. The cause of the accident has not been released.
