ESCAPED ELY PRISONER FOUND IN VEGAS — A Nevada state prison inmate who escaped from custody 12 days ago in Ely has been found and arrested in Las Vegas. 25-year old Courtland Kimble was arrested Tuesday at an apartment complex east of downtown Las Vegas. Officials thought he might head west after his escape, but he was actually found 250 miles south. Kimble was serving a 15-year prison sentence for robbery with a deadly weapon, and he now gets to add felony escape charges to his record.
