The Undeniable Fact

If there is a liberal who can still attempt today to say with a straight face that all political candidates (and parties) are treated equally by the media, then I am available to assist you in being fitted for your Pinocchio nose.

The Republican debate from Boulder, Colorado may have been the best debate I have ever seen. And this comes from somebody who, as a rule, doesn’t care for Presidential debates. They’re made-for-TV events that are designed to generate ratings in any way they can, and too often the moderators just get in the way.  How many times did you yell “shut-up” at the TV Wednesday night? The agenda was clear, the interruptions constant, and the bias evident. Each of the debates on Fox, CNN and CNBC has been less than perfect in some way.  Fox wanted to prove to the world they are not shills for the Republicans as they are often accused of. CNN was…well, CNN. On the Democrat debate Anderson Cooper was not terrible, but I kept waiting for him to ask the one question that really mattered. As we were being subjected to the Hillary and Bernie show touting all the wonderful things government is going to do for us, he never asked “How do we actually pay for all of this?” Wouldn’t that be an actual question from a Journalist?

And what can we say about CNBC? If their goal was to demonstrate they have no real credibility at all, they scored. Big time. No surprise really, since its NBC, the home of Brian Williams and the Al Sharpton side-show that somehow still remains on the air. Pathetic is too kind a word.

They did however, do a wonderful service for the country. They showed the liberal bias of the mainstream media better than anything me or anybody else could, and they succeeded in getting the ten GOP candidates on stage to go into attack mode exactly as they hoped. Unfortunately for them, they became the ones under attack. My goodness it was fun. I haven’t laughed that much in a long time.

As Chris Christie said, “Even in NJ what you’re doing is rude.”

Goodnight America. Goodnight Hillary.
