Nevada is getting more than 1.5 million dollars to crack down on “Snap” fraud and abuse. The state’s welfare division was one of three agencies nationwide to get the grant from the U.S.D.A.  The grant will help Nevada develop new technologies to identify fraud and trafficking in food stamp program, which is formally known as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP.
