The Nevada PUC might have a compromise in the works, on its decision to apply higher rates to rooftop solar power customers, and cut payments for power sent to the grid. They applied this retroactively. Commissioner David Noble submitted a draft order calling for reconsideration of the so-called “grandfathering” issue. That would mean people who already “bought in” under the old rules, wouldn’t be hurt, but new customers still would. The commission is expected to take this up Monday.
