Two people are in custody in connection with a shooting and robbery on Wedekind Road Wednesday night. Darius Jones and Christina Rooney face multiple charges in the incident. During the investigation, police found the couple in a nearby apartment on Patton Drive and obtained a search warrant. Lt. Willian Rulla with RPD says they recovered an illegal handgun they believe may have been used in the crime.  Christina Rooney is not believed to be a part of the robbery, She was arrested for child endangerment because her child was in an apartment where police found illegal firearms and drug paraphernalia. Police are looking for more suspects.
