No one will be charged in the 2015 shooting deaths of two Spanish Springs men. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office says the shooter acted in self-defense, and in defense of his 50-year-old brother and 75-year-old father. Residents inside a home on McLemore Court were disturbed by yelling and fighting outside their home. One of the residents, a 75-year-old man, went outside to tell three subjects across the street to quiet down and go inside. Two of those men chose to confront him, attacking the the father and one brother. The second heard his brother yelling for help and responded with a pistol. Believing that the lives of his father and brother were in immediate danger, since they were being battered by the younger men, the 51-year-old shot at the two attackers, 29 year old Glen Robins, and his 19 year old brother Ryan Robins.
