The Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect in a shooting yesterday afternoon in northeast Reno. It happened just before 3 p.m. in the 1600 block of Wedekind Road. According to officials, one man was arguing with three other men and it escalated into a fight. One of the three then pulled out a gun and fired twice. The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. The suspect and other two men then fled the scene in a small, light-colored SUV. Police are asking anyone with information to call Reno Police or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
