A fatal accident at Squaw Valley has the ski resort closed today. According to the Placer County Sheriff’s office, the incident occurred just after 8:30 this morning and involved a person who was fatally injured during avalanche control activities. The victim’s name has not been released, but we do know that the victim was an employee of the ski resort.
