County Ranks High in Health Study

Nevada’s annual health report studying the state’s counties has been released, and Washoe County is one of healthiest. Lincoln County in southeast Nevada was ranked first, followed by Pershing, Douglas and then Washoe. The study was compiled by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute.  The report highlighted Nevada counties in Health Outcomes and Health Factor. The outcomes takes into account a few things like, years of potential life lost before age 75 and adults reporting fair or poor health.
