Richie West Junior is scheduled to be sentenced today by a federal judge for his role in a prescription drug ring. West pleaded guilty in February. West said he got his prescription pills from Dr. Robert Rand, who was sentenced last month to 10 years in prison, and would sell pills to his alleged co-conspirators. Prosecutors say West was getting pills from Rand from at least November of 2012 until his arrest in April of 2016.
