Sparks Police and the FBI are looking for a bank robber. Police say employees at Nevada State Bank at 500 Prater Way called 911 at 2:48PM Monday to report a robbery. No one reported seeing a weapon, and the robber never mentioned a weapon as part of a threat. The robber was seen walking north of the bank along E. I Street. Businesses around the bank are encouraged to call Sparks PD if employees saw the robber before or after the robbery at their businesses. Police say it is not uncommon for robbers to shed clothing or other items as they leave a crime scene, so anyone who found anything near the bank that may be of interest to investigators is asked to contact Sparks Police.
