Sex Harassment Suit Against City of Reno Can Proceed

A federal judge is refusing to block the lawsuit filed by two former Reno City employees over sexual harassment.
The City says the two employees made false claims to get then City Manager Andrew Clinger fired. Judge Miranda Du suggests even if the women had other motives for filing the claims, it doesn’t necessarily indicate bad faith. The judge found Maureen McKissick and Deanna Gescheider provided enough facts to allow the case to proceed. Both say they were either harassed, retaliated against, or both.
