Reno Drug Dealer Sentenced in Federal Court

A Reno man has been sentenced to 184 months in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine and heroin in the Truckee Meadows. 41-year-old LeCharles Baldon, Sr. pleaded guilty in May to one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and was sentenced Monday. Investigators say between November 2016 and January 2017, Baldon possessed and distributed 339.74 grams of pure meth and 91.73 grams of heroin. In January 2017, task force agents searched Baldon’s home and storage unit, and found methamphetamine and heroin, a gun, and two scales. The US Attorney’s Office says Baldon is a multi-convicted felon, having already been convicted of carjacking and robbery in California, and has two additional convictions for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
