The Trauma Intervention Program of Northern Nevada honored five ‘Heroes with Heart’ at an awards dinner last night. The award recipients were honored for their exceptional on-scene compassionate support of citizens experiencing a personal trauma during the past year.

2020 TIP Heroes with Heart Recipients:
· Officer Derek Jones, Reno Police Department
· Deputy Micheon Burgarello, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office
· Kassi Morris, Social Worker, Washoe County Human Services
· Officer Glenn Marsh, Sparks Police Department
· EMT Supervisor Andrew Massey, REMSA
