A motorcyclist driving recklessly in the area of W 4th St and Stoker Avenue is dead in a crash, after fleeing at high speed, while officers attempted a traffic stop. The motorcyclist got away, before losing control and crashing, in the Caughlin Parkway and Kensington Way area. The officer attempted life-saving measures until medical personnel arrived on scene. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

One man is dead after a motorcycle versus vehicle crash in Reno. The crash happened on Monday just before 6:30 in the area of Kietzke Ln. and Taylor St. Police say when they arrived, a 39-year-old motorcyclist was down and unresponsive. Emergency responders provided life-saving efforts but the motorcyclist died on scene. RPD said the driver of the other vehicle was cooperative with the investigation and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
