The Placer County Sheriff’s Office says a murder suspect escaped the Sutter Roseville Medical Center early Sunday. 35-year-old Eric Abril, was arrested April 6th in Roseville on charges that included murder and attempted murder. He was wearing an orange jumpsuit at the time of his escape. The sheriff’s office describe him as white, 6 feet tall, 175 pounds with brown hair. Abril was arrested in the shooting of a California Highway Patrol officer and two hostages in a park in Roseville, northeast of Sacramento.
