The roommate of a missing Yerington man has been arrested on an open murder charge. 57-year-old Timothy Michael Brewer, was booked into the Lyon County jail after Investigators found a grave on Brewer’s property. On June 28th, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office went to a home shared by Brewer and Sir Charles Lester on Farrell Lane in Yerington to check on Lester’s status. Lester’s friends said they had not had contact with him in about a week which was unusual. Brewer told the sheriff’s office he last saw Lester on June 20th after an argument. Detectives searched the Farrell Lane property on Thursday and found a recently dug grave with Lester’s body inside.
