An officer with the Pyramid Lake Police Department has died after he was rammed by a car during an incident late Friday night. The officer, who has been identified as Anthony Francone, was involved in a chase with a suspect on SR-446. The officer was struck by a vehicle driven by the suspect. The suspect also died after being shot by law enforcement. Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe Chairman James Phoenix announced the death in a statement on Twitter:
