The Sparks Police Department says the woman who was hit while walking on Brierly Way in east Sparks suffered life-threatening injuries and is in critical condition. They continue to look for the driver who left the scene. It happened about 9:41 p.m. Wednesday on Brierly Way near Interstate 80 about a block west of Vista Boulevard. Anyone with information is asked to call Sparks Police at 353-2231 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
