A winning ticket for Wednesday’s estimated one-point-seven-six-billion dollar Powerball jackpot was sold at Midway Market and Liquor in Frazier Park, about 75 miles north of L.A. – it’s a mountain community near Tejon Pass – population 2,600 and dropping. Wednesday’s jackpot was the second-largest jackpot in lottery history. It marks the first time three consecutive Powerball jackpots hit the billion-dollar mark.
