[KOH] A juvenile died Friday in a motel room east of downtown Reno. The Reno Police Department arrested his mother, 37-year-old Ansonia Laws, on a count of open murder, which could mean first or second degree murder or manslaughter.
Police went to the motel on East Fourth Street near Sutro Street at about 4 p.m. on a report of a boy who wasn’t breathing. The juvenile died at a hospital.
