[KOH] Did you feel it? A magnitude 2.9 earthquake hit the mountains northeast of Spanish Springs Sunday just before 5 p.m. The Nevada Seismological Laboratory put the quake about 1.8 miles northeast of Golden Eagle Park. It was the strongest quake of seven in the same area ranging from from magnitude 0.8 to 2.7. There were no reports of damage or injuries.
