(Reno, NV) — Reno Fire and Police were called to the scene of a large house fire in south Reno. It started around 3 this morning on Teramo Court just off Veterans Parkway on the city’s South side. According to the operations chief on scene, two people were in critical condition when they were rushed to Renown Medical. One was an adult male, the other a juvenile male. Both were pronounced dead at the hospital. Three firefighters were also injured, including one who was burned through his protective suit. The cause of the fire is under investigation. It allegedly began in the home’s garage. The home suffered a partial collapsed roof during the blaze. During a news conference Friday, the Reno Fire Chief called the blaze unusual for a newer home like the one that caught fire.
