(Reno, NV) — UPDATE: Reno Police confirm the boy has been found safe. He has been reunited with his family.

The Reno Police Department is searching for 12-year-old Edmund Mance-Julian who was last seen on Monday around 7:30 a.m. when he was leaving his home on Gardella Avenue. Police said that he left a note saying he was running away, but didn’t take any belongings with him. He is described as mixed race, with brown hair and brown eyes, and stands at about five feet and seven inches. Edmund and his family are new to Reno, and he is not familiar with the area.
