[KOH] Reno City Manager Doug Thornley has been cleared of wrongdoing after a five-month investigation into alleged misconduct. The investigation came after Councilwoman Jenny Brekhus accused Thornley of drinking on the job. The outside investigation also determined that he did not retaliate against Brekhus after she made the allegations. But the investigation did find that Brekhus contributed to a hostile work environment for city staff. Investigators call her treatment of city staff “caustic and borderline abusive.”
