[KOH] Attention all skiers and snowboarders! Mt. Rose says they’ve got enough snow to partially open this Friday! The resort says the recent storm and lots of chances to switch on the snow-making machines has given it enough of the white stuff to welcome those wanting to make their first turns of the season. Mike Pierce, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe marketing director reminds us that Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe has the highest base elevation in the Tahoe area and primarily Northern and Eastern exposure, which means colder temperatures and better snow quality.

Selected lifts will start running at 9am Friday.
