Nevada DMV Adding “Star of Life” Option

The Nevada DMV is adding the Star of Life to eligible driver’s licenses for a one-time fee of three-dollars, 25 cents. The blue star, accompanied by a code, is meant to help first responders recognize certain medical conditions in drivers. Eligible conditions include vision impairment, COPD, autism, deafness, and schizophrenia. To get the symbol added, driver’s license holders must go to a DMV office and show a completed copy of a DLD-7 form, signed by a doctor.
