A teenage girl was killed in a crash in Carson City last night. It happened just after 5:40 at the intersection of North Carson St. and Nye lane. According to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, she was hit by a vehicle while in a crosswalk. The victim has been identified as a 14 year old Carson High School student. The girl and her boyfriend were crossing when she was hit. He was not injured. The driver of the vehicle, and several witnesses, remained at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation.
