It’s a controversial plan that would move all mail processing from Reno to Sacramento. Postmaster Louis DeJoy was questioned about the plan in a heated exchange with Senator Jacky Rosen. The Democrat wanted to know if they had conducted any studies on how the change would effect the area’s seniors and veterans.

Senator Rosen has consistently opposed the proposed relocation because of the impact it would have on mail service reliability and local jobs.
