A Washoe County School District employee accused of sexual assault was in court Monday. Bail has been set at $2 million for Caitlin Rock, accused of having a sexual relationship with a student. The Washoe County District Attorney’s Office says after the 14-year-old’s mother found out about the assault, Rock continued to pressure the child. The state also read a letter from the alleged victim’s parents about their concern for their child’s safety if Rock was out on the street. The state argued Rock needs to stay in jail because she’s a predator.
