(Reno, NV) — An 81-year-old man from Reno is now facing a murder charge after a deadly shooting in Palomino Valley. Jimmy Shores was arrested on July 9th, on suspicion of shooting a 46-year-old man. The victim died from his wounds five days later. Prosecutors have upgraded the charge against Shores from battery with a deadly weapon to murder. Detectives say the two men lived together but the motive for the shooting is not clear.
