(Las Vegas, NV) — A former Nevada county politician is being found guilty of murdering a Las Vegas journalist. A jury found Former Nevada county public administrator Robert Telles killed “Las Vegas Review-Journal” investigative reporter Jeff German in September of 2022. Prosecutors said Telles murdered German over negative articles the journalist wrote about Telles when he was the Clark County public administrator. The jury returned the guilty verdict this afternoon after deliberating since Monday. The penalty phase of the trial will begin later today.
