Helping seniors, caregivers, and veterans connect to resources to aid independence and good health.
In its 27th year history, it is safe to say no two Senior Fest events are alike. However, one thing is consistent, the event connects the community with senior friendly businesses, non- profits, organizations and friends.
This FREE annual event is held at the Reno Town Mall on the corner of S. Virginia Street and Peckham Lane. It’s across from the Reno-Sparks Convention Center and the Atlantis Hotel Casino. There is free parking at the Reno Town Mall and Atlantis Casino.
This year, Senior Fest organizers are excited to offer numerous vaccines not available at previous events. Partners Safeway and Northern Nevada Public Health are providing the follow- ing vaccines:
- FLU: Standard and High Dose for 65+ years old. • COVID: 2024-2025 (if available)
- RSV: (Arexvy) for people 60+ years old.
- Shingles: for people 50+ years old.
- Prevnar 20: for people 19+ years old with conditions like diabetes, respiratory
disease, cardiovascular disease.
Senior Fest will have over 55 vendors in attendance inside the mall. Music and entertainment, as well as a light snack at 11 a.m. will be held outside, along with coffee provided by My Favorite Muffin & Bagel Cafe and DoughBoys Donuts.
Senior Fest 2024 main sponsors are Senior Spectrum Newspa- per, Dolan Automotive, J Resort, Gold Dust West, AARP Neva- da, Northern Nevada Medical Center, and Prominence Health Plan.
