(Reno, NV) — A jury has convicted a man of second-degree murder following the shooting death of an 18-year-old woman at a motel in Reno. Forty-year-old Todd Tonnochy was convicted on Wednesday after the jury found him not guilty of first-degree murder in connection with the shooting in March of 2023. He was also found guilty of destroying evidence, possession of a deadly weapon and intimidating. Jury deliberations lasted less than a day. Tonnochy will be sentenced on December 2nd.
