(Reno, NV) — Construction of the new loop road at Reno-Tahoe International Airport is complete. The loop road, which is 18-hundred linear feet long, has smoother asphalt, elevated crosswalks and new canopies to protect travelers from the sun, rain and snow. The loop road is the second project to be completed in the airport’s expansion. The first project, the construction of a new ticketing hall, was completed in April. The third project is a new Ground Transport Center, which will add more rental car and shuttle space. Construction will start next summer and is expected to wrap up by 2027.
