(Reno, NV) — The suspect in a shooting at an apartment complex in northwest Reno in October of 2023 and in a shooting at the Sparks Marina in June of this year is the same person. Nineteen-year-old Frank Hewitt Junior is accused of shooting seven people at the Zephyr Pointe Apartments and four people at the marina. Hewitt was arrested earlier this month. He is facing 25 charges, including eleven counts of attempted murder. Detectives believe the shootings are connected and may be gang-related.
