(Reno, NV) — Reno officials are considering changes to the live entertainment zoning code. A meeting, scheduled for this coming Tuesday, will discuss potential code changes regarding noise limits. Reno has discrepancies when it comes to noise regulations. Some existing bars and nightclubs have unrestricted live entertainment without noise limits, while newer businesses must follow specific regulations and require a Conditional Use Permit specific to their location. Business owners and community members are encouraged to attend the meeting at Reno City Hall. Officials will discuss city-wide outdoor and indoor live entertainment, hours of operation and a security plan checklist for cabaret licenses.
