(Reno, NV) — Reno transportation officials are considering doing a traffic study on a stretch of road that has proven to be dangerous. In recent years, there has been a series of crashes on West Seventh Street in northwest Reno, between Downey Avenue and Heights Drive. That includes a tanker truck rollover in January. In the meantime, the city is also planning to install flashing LED arrows at a sharp curve in the roadway. That curve, combined with the downhill decline, has contributed to eight crashes in the area since 2019.
