(Carson City, NV) — The Nevada Assembly is reviving “Reba’s Law” after it missed last Friday’s deadline to move out of committee. On Monday, the bill was granted an exemption, then advanced with a unanimous committee vote. The bill, if passed, would strengthen penalties for animal cruelty in Nevada. It is named for an English bulldog that died last July, after being found sealed inside a plastic tub in 110-degree heat. The bill now goes to the full state Assembly for a vote.
