Nevadans React to Pope Francis’ Passing

(Las Vegas, NV) — Across the state, Nevadans from all walks of life are reacting to the death of Pope Francis, who died yesterday at the age of 88. The CEO of Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada, Marie Baxter, says she cried when she heard the news yesterday. Bishop Daniel Mueggenborg of the Diocese of Reno says he owes much to the pope. He was appointed to Bishop by Pope Francis and he says he will always be grateful for the honor.
