(Reno, NV) — The Washoe County School District Board of Trustees is approving continued funding for body cameras for school police officers. The funding, approved Tuesday, secures another five-year deal between the WCSD and body camera manufacturer Axon. The contract is worth more than 189-thousand dollars. Washoe County school police officers have already been using Axon body cameras for several years.
