A Reno woman is accused of fleeing the scene of a deadly crash in Washoe County, now she’s under arrest. 52-year-old Debra Ann Thornton was taken into custody after the crash back on August 12 at South Virginia Street and Greenwood Drive. Nevada State Police say Thornton was northbound on Virginia in a Honda CR-V near the Tamarack Casino. She went onto the Northbound shoulder and hit a pedestrian, identified as 32-year-old Jarod Clinton Taylor of Las Vegas. Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene. Impairment does appear to be a factor in the crash.
