The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is releasing new details about an officer-involved shooting on Yori Avenue. The Sheriff’s Office says around 12:30 a.m. Monday, Reno PD officers were called to the area on reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, officers found an armed suspect, at which point, an officer involved shooting occurred. The suspect was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The stabbing victim was also taken to a hospital, their condition has not been released. No officers were injured in the incident.
