A motorcyclist killed Tuesday morning in a downtown Sparks crash was identified as 35-year-old Robert Ortiz. Now Sparks Police are looking to identify two possible witnesses. Police said Ortiz drove west on Victorian Avenue from Pyramid Way at high speed and failed to make a turn. He struck a curb, went airborne and ejected from the motorcycle before coming to a rest on the shoulder. Police want to speak to two drivers in the area. One driver was in an early 2000s blue Dodge four-door truck with chrome wheels. The second is an early 2000s single cab white Chevrolet pickup with a black lumber rack and a toolbox in the truck bed.
