Nevada’s Unemployment Rate Still Highest

[KOH] The labor force in Nevada grew by about 8,000 in September, marking the ninth consecutive month of growth in that category. But Nevada still has the highest unemployment rate in the nation at 5.4%, well above Washington, DC in second at 5.0%, and California 3rd highest at 4.7%.

Lowest unemployment was in Maryland at 1.6%, with North Dakota, South Dakota, and Vermont all tied in second at 1.9%
